WHO IS DRIKA
Daughter of a nurse and a truck driver, a creative rebel who loves fashion and music, Drika Valério is the innovative mind behind the brand Aria Moda Inclusiva, which develops revolutionary pieces by constantly questioning and challenging what is presented as standard by the media, going beyond in terms of adapted clothing.
Graduated in fashion from Senac and in design from IESB Prevê, Drika found her true passion in inclusive fashion by creating purposeful pieces for people with disabilities, beginning this transformative journey in 2011. She has won numerous national awards, her brand has achieved international recognition, actively participating in events on rehabilitation, entrepreneurship and, of course, fashion.
She reached her peak at design college, where she presented the remarkable Inclusive Wedding Dress project as her Final Course Project, earning the highest grade in college, a 10 with merit and praise, which also won 1st place in the 4th Inclusive Fashion Contest, Honorable Mentions, Motion of Applause among other awards, and also became the focus of courses, lectures and fashion shows, opening doors for Drika as an inspiring leader in the inclusive fashion segment.
Additionally, Drika Valério is the visionary behind the first online training course in Inclusive Fashion, empowering new designers and brands to embrace true inclusivity in their creations. Her ebook, "Inclusive Fashion Illustration", featuring sketches of real body types, is the only material created with the inclusion of different body types in mind and sold internationally, solidifying her global social impact.
